FAQ

Is it free to claim my venue?
Yes. Your venue profile, vibe categories, events and chat features are available for free. Optional paid products include Discovery Boost, calendar advertising and the introductory Starter Pack. Ticket sales require your own connected Stripe or Mollie account.
What does ticketing cost?
Payments are processed through your connected Stripe or Mollie account, and standard payment provider fees apply. For events with paid tickets, ForVibes charges a one-off platform fee per event based on its capacity, starting at €19 for up to 50 people. Free events pay no platform fee.
Can I sell tickets through ForVibes?
Yes. Connect your Stripe or Mollie account, set up ticket types and start selling tickets for your events. Available features include discount codes, affiliate links, waiting lists and ticket transfer links. Staff can use the available ticket scanning tools at the entrance.
How do guest vouchers work?
You choose the rewards and conditions for your vouchers. Visitors can qualify by sharing content and meeting the requirements of your promotion. Staff can scan vouchers when they are redeemed. You can grant scanning permissions without giving staff access to the entire dashboard.
Can I embed content or tickets on my website?
Yes. The Integration tab provides available embeds and QR codes for your vibe feed, upcoming events, category information and ticket checkout. Tracking parameters can help you understand where visitors come from.
What is a vibe?
A vibe is a short photo or video shared by someone at your venue. It gives other people a glimpse of the atmosphere and helps them discover places through real experiences rather than relying solely on written reviews.
What is the Action Centre?
The Action Centre brings together practical information such as peak activity periods, suggested content tags, local insights and promotion suggestions. It is designed to help you decide what to do next without overwhelming you with unnecessary notifications.
What is VenueOS?
VenueOS turns those insights into tips for your next night: when it gets busy, what to promote, where to staff. You approve every action. Nothing runs on its own.
Can I post jobs on ForVibes?
Yes. Post vacancies where students and young people already look for a night out. Your first vacancy is free. You stay the employer: ForVibes connects you with candidates.
Do I need advertising to be visible?
No. Your public venue page, organic discovery and calendar listings can be available without paid promotion. Advertising is optional and can be used when you want to give selected content additional exposure.

Attract new guests

Welcome groups of friends who may never have discovered your venue otherwise. ForVibes organizes the crawl and directs participating groups to your location, giving you the opportunity to introduce your business to potential new regulars.

Encourage additional drink sales

Visitors are not able to redeem their complimentary drink voucher immediately upon arrival. They must first remain within 30 metres of your venue for at least 15 minutes, verified through location tracking, before redemption becomes available.

This gives guests time to settle in, experience your venue and order a drink themselves before claiming their included complimentary drink. Any additional purchases are paid for directly by the guests.

Turn complimentary drinks into exposure

Your complimentary drinks give visitors a reason to experience your venue. In return, participants are encouraged to capture the atmosphere, drinks and moments they enjoy. These photos and videos, known as vibes, can be shared within the ForVibes community and on visitors' own Instagram and TikTok accounts.

And there is a built-in reason to film: a crew only sees its next venue after uploading a vibe at the current stop. Every crew that visits you leaves with a video of your venue.

Let visitors showcase your venue

Authentic content can help people discover what makes your venue worth visiting. When guests share their night on Instagram or TikTok, their content may introduce your bar or café to friends and followers who have not visited before. Social posts and additional reach are not guaranteed.

Stay in control

You decide when your venue participates and how many visitors you can accommodate. Set your preferred position in the route, manage your availability and capacity, limit the number of drinks served per hour, and block dates when you are unavailable.

If your venue gets busy, you can pause incoming groups, mark yourself as full or stop participating for the rest of the evening. If you have room for more guests, use We need visitors to request additional crews.

How it works

  1. Register your venue

    Open the Bar Crawls section in your ForVibes business dashboard. Enable participation and configure your preferences, availability and capacity.

  2. Become part of a crawl

    ForVibes organizes groups of 2 to 12 friends into routes featuring three participating venues. Routes are designed to keep stops within walking distance. The next venue remains a mystery to participants until shortly before they are due to move on.

    The next venue is only revealed once the crew has uploaded a vibe on ForVibes at their current stop. So every stop gets filmed before the group moves on.

  3. Welcome your guests

    When a crew arrives, your staff can use the dedicated staff portal to verify the group and process valid drink voucher redemptions. Each participant is entitled to one drink at each stop, subject to the applicable redemption rules.

  4. Let guests settle in before redemption

    To redeem their complimentary drink, participants must spend at least 15 minutes within 30 metres of your venue. ForVibes checks their location before allowing the voucher to be redeemed.

    This waiting period gives visitors an opportunity to order something themselves and enjoy your venue before claiming their complimentary drink.

  5. Encourage visitors to share the experience

    Give guests a reason to capture the atmosphere of your venue. Participants can record and share their vibes through ForVibes and may also post them on Instagram or TikTok, helping your venue gain additional exposure.

  6. Manage your participation

    Track upcoming crews, monitor arrival windows and manage your venue's status directly in the business dashboard. You can pause participation, request a replacement venue or contact the ForVibes team if you need assistance.

Your investment, your choice

There is no participation fee for joining ForVibes Bar Crawls.

Your contribution is the complimentary drinks you provide to participating guests. ForVibes does not reimburse these drinks. You decide when to participate, manage your capacity and determine which eligible drinks you are prepared to offer under the applicable terms.

The goal is simple: introduce your venue to new people, create opportunities for additional sales and give visitors an experience worth remembering, photographing and sharing.
