Early artist intelligence for A&R: audience growth across platforms, releases, playlists and live traction in one place. With the reasoning behind every signal.
Follow artists across streaming, social and live stages: weekly audience growth, acceleration, releases, playlists, upcoming shows and festival bookings. With the data quality behind every signal.
Current popularity, momentum, acceleration, prediction, business opportunity and confidence are kept apart, so a small artist who accelerates is not hidden behind a big one who stalls.
Record labels & A&R
Early artist intelligence for A&R: audience growth across platforms, releases, playlists and live traction in one place. With the reasoning behind every signal.
Labels need to know who is growing now, not who already broke. ForVibes follows artists across platforms and live stages, so you see the early signs.
Weekly audience growth on streaming, video and social, side by side. So one platform's spike does not fool you.
Small artists who grow faster and faster stand out from big names whose growth has stalled.
New releases, playlist adds and DJ support as they happen, per artist.
Bigger venues, festival bookings and new countries: proof that an audience shows up in person.
Search and filter by genre, country and city to match your roster and sound.
Every signal shows where it comes from and how much data is behind it, and says so when there is not enough yet.
Artist intelligence
The most interesting artist to book is not always the biggest name on the lineup. Emerging artists can offer opportunities when their audience is growing and their popularity is still developing.
The ForVibes artist radar brings available artist data together, helping you explore audience growth, upcoming performances and new developments across the music industry.
Upcoming shows on ForVibes
Compare weekly changes across streaming, video and social platforms where data is available. See which artists are gaining attention and how their audiences develop over time.
Explore announced shows by city and region. This helps you understand where artists are already performing and where they are building an audience.
Follow available information about new music, playlist placements and DJ support. These signals can help you understand what is happening around an artist.
Use historical measurements and growth patterns to identify artists worth researching further. Explore their current position and potential development without relying on popularity alone.
ForVibes distinguishes measured activity from predictions. Where there is not enough historical data to support a reliable conclusion, we say so.
How artist popularity predictions work
ForVibes is being developed to help music businesses identify artists who may gain popularity before that growth becomes obvious to everyone else.
The goal is not simply to rank the biggest artists. It is to understand who is growing, how that growth is changing and which artists may be worth considering for future bookings.
Understand an artist's current position using available measurements such as listeners, streams, playlist reach and social activity.
See how an artist's audience changes over time. An artist with a smaller audience but consistent growth may deserve attention alongside more established names.
Look at whether growth is speeding up or slowing down. A sustained increase in growth can be an interesting signal, although a sudden spike does not necessarily mean an artist is about to break through.
Explore how an artist's popularity might develop over the next month, three months or six months, where the model has sufficient data and has been validated for that prediction period.
Use artist information to identify potential candidates for your venue, festival or event. The best fit also depends on genre, audience, location, availability and budget.
Understand how much historical information is available and whether the evidence supports a reliable assessment. Predictions should not appear more certain than the underlying data allows.
ForVibes combines available information from multiple sources to build a historical view of artist development.
Streaming activity, social platforms, search interest, releases, playlists and live performances, depending on source availability.
Weekly changes, growth rates, acceleration, consistency and missing data are assessed over time.
Historical patterns can be used to estimate future development. Model performance must be tested against outcomes that occur later.
The aim is to present useful information about artist growth, potential development and data reliability in a format that supports booking decisions.
A single measurement tells you where an artist stands today. A series of weekly measurements helps reveal the direction in which the artist is moving.
Not every data source is currently available for every artist. The information displayed reflects actual source coverage.
One month
Identify artists gaining attention, sudden increases in activity and changes associated with new releases. Shorter forecasts are particularly useful for monitoring recent developments.
Three months
Explore which artists show patterns that may indicate continued audience growth. This horizon can help with upcoming programming and booking research.
Six months
Investigate artists who may become more established over a longer period. This can support early research for festivals, talent development and A&R.
Longer forecasts generally involve more uncertainty. Where sufficient validation data exists, predictions include an indication of uncertainty rather than presenting a single number as a certainty.
Each prediction period needs its own validation. A model that performs well over one month may not perform equally well over six months.
Identify whether an artist is still being discovered, emerging, breaking through or already established.
Understand whether an artist is accelerating, growing steadily, remaining stable or losing momentum.
See whether the available information is sufficient to support a meaningful assessment.
These dimensions describe different things. An established artist can be losing momentum, while a relatively unknown artist can be growing quickly.
The aim is to make artist research more useful and transparent. Instead of relying on one popularity score, you can examine the signals behind an assessment and decide whether an artist fits your plans.
Calculating a score is not the same as proving that a prediction works.
ForVibes needs sufficient historical measurements, accurate artist matching and up to date source data. Predictions must also be compared with what actually happens later.
When several sources measure similar activity, their signals need to be assessed carefully. Missing information and overlapping sources can otherwise make an artist appear more promising than the evidence supports.
New signals only influence production predictions once their quality and contribution have been validated.
