Family Schiphol is basically the airport itself, not some tucked-away spot. It's the whole Schiphol experience: three departure halls, arrivals, and Schiphol Plaza in the middle. If you're killing time before a flight, you can wander the shops, hit the lounges, or just figure out where you're going with the maps scattered around. You can grab a coffee, do some duty-free shopping after passport control, or park your car if you're driving. There's even valet parking if you can't be bothered. The Plaza is where you'll find the practical stuff: train tickets, currency exchange, and the facilities you actually need when you're rushing. Worth a visit? If you're flying, you don't really have a choice. But it's not a bad place to be stuck. It's organized, there's enough to keep you busy, and you won't starve. Just don't expect a vibe. It's an airport. It does what it says.
