Wink Eten en Drinken is basically three different moods under one roof, and honestly that's kind of the whole appeal. You've got a brown café that leans into nostalgia and aviation history, a serre that feels like a beach lounge, and a lounge space where everything kind of blends together. It's a lot of vibe for one spot, but it works. The place has been around since 1870, which is wild. Piet Wink started it, a bunch of family members kept it going, and in 2021 someone new gave it a full makeover. The current owners, Caroline and Johan, actually used to work here before taking over in 2023. They kept the interior exactly as it is, which says something about the atmosphere being right already. You can grab a properly tapped Heineken and eat some well-prepared food. That's the core of it. No fuss, just good drinks, decent grub, and a space that doesn't try too hard to be anything it isn't.
