Circoloco

Zurich, Switzerland

Circoloco isn't a club or a bar. It's a circus act, a duo of Montreal artists, Patto and Julie, who have been on the road since 1997. They do the whole thing: circus performance, Argentine tango, knife throwing, and tribal dance. If you catch them live, you're getting a show that's equal parts skill and chaos, and honestly, that's the appeal. They've played everywhere from busker festivals in Canada to street fairs in Miami and even a stop in Vevey, Switzerland. The vibe is less polished theater, more "watch these two absolutely commit to a bit in a public square." It's the kind of thing you stumble on and can't look away from. Worth a visit if you're into live performance that feels raw and unscripted. No screens, no DJ, just two people doing wild stuff with their bodies and some sharp objects. That's it. That's the pitch.
