Circoloco isn't a club or a bar. It's a circus act, a duo of Montreal artists, Patto and Julie, who have been on the road since 1997. They do the whole thing: circus performance, Argentine tango, knife throwing, and tribal dance. If you catch them live, you're getting a show that's equal parts skill and chaos, and honestly, that's the appeal. They've played everywhere from busker festivals in Canada to street fairs in Miami and even a stop in Vevey, Switzerland. The vibe is less polished theater, more "watch these two absolutely commit to a bit in a public square." It's the kind of thing you stumble on and can't look away from.
