Rakkas

Dortmund, Germany

Rakkas is a Turkish pop event agency, not a regular club. Founded in 1997 by Ertan Sayan and Tanju Yolasan, the name means "Stimmungsmacher" and that's basically the whole program. Since then they've done over 1000 events. Big concerts (Tarkan, Sezen Aksu, Emre Aydin), film premieres, and a Deluxe party series for guests 25 and up. The Tarkan show in 2019 at Lanxess-Arena pulled more than 10,000 people, so yeah, they know what they're doing. Worth a visit if Turkish pop is your thing and you want a night that actually goes somewhere instead of just standing around. Check their events before you go, the lineup changes.
