London
Patchworks
Patchworks is that weird little corner of London where the vibe is half DIY gig, half your mate’s garage after everyone’s had a few. Think mismatched sofas, fairy lights strung up like no one planned it, and a stage that’s seen more local bands than you’ve had hot dinners. You can grab a drink (cheap, because no one here’s trying to flex), play a round of pool or table football, or just sit and watch whatever’s happening on stage, open mic, live sets, or someone’s cousin testing out their new synth. It’s not polished, it’s not trying to be. That’s the point. No dress code, no pretence, just a room full of people who’d rather be here than anywhere else. If you’re over curated playlists and venues that feel like museums, this is your spot.
