Debaser has been doing the music thing in Stockholm for over two decades, and it's been at Hornstulls Strand since 2013. Before that it bounced around a bit. The whole point has always been the same: a stage for new local acts and international names, sometimes before they blow up. Speaking of which, the list of people who've played here is kind of unhinged. Billie Eilish, Adele, Post Malone, The Strokes, Tame Impala, Little Simz, Bob Dylan. Not a bad flex. These days it's more than just the main room. There's Pontonen, an outdoor bar and restaurant right on the water, plus Capricci, an Italian spot that opened in 2022. So you can catch a gig, a club night, a quiz, or just eat something decent by the water. They're also part of Liveurope, which means they pull in new European acts from across the continent, often early. Worth a visit if you care about live music at all.
