Basel
Corrientes
Corrientes is a tango spot in Basel that's been doing its thing for 16 years. Dornacherstrasse 192, Halle 2 west. Not a bar that happens to play tango, an actual place built around it. Tango is the main character here, but there's salsa, kizomba and more depending on the night. You can take courses, show up for events, or just come dance. Check the Veranstaltungskalender before you go, that's where the actual dates live. You can also rent the space for your own thing, so it's not only for people who already know the steps. If you've been meaning to finally learn, or you just want a night that isn't the usual bar loop, this is it.
