BETTY is a live club on St. Pauli that does exactly two things: concerts and parties. No fluff. The downstairs bar opens at 10 pm with free entry to the clubs and after shows, which already puts it ahead of most places in Hamburg. Upstairs, they run gigs almost every night. The lineup is all over the place in the best way: hardcore, metal, indie, electronic, even some German acts like Schimmerling and Frau Lehmann. If you're into heavy music, this place is basically your second home. If you're not, the party nights (ALL IN., CLUB:RIOT, LOUDER THAN YOU) still give you a reason to show up. The vibe is straightforward. No dress code energy, no pretension. Just a room, a stage, and people who actually care about what's playing.
