History

Studentenvereniging Circumflex is de oudste en grootste traditionele studentenvereniging van Maastricht. Sinds haar oprichting in 1971 is zij met haar ondernemende karakter dé vernieuwende en bepalende kracht van studentenstad Maastricht. Bovendien is zij sinds haar intrede in sociëteit De Kaap in 2008, een monumentaal pand op 100 meter afstand van het Vrijthof, de enige centraal gelegen studentenvereniging van Maastricht.

Activities

– Inkom: Tijdens de introweek in Maastricht worden er veel activiteiten/feesten georganiseerd op SV Circumflex – MAFF (AHC): Eerstejaarsfeest voor alle eerstejaars van het AHC (verdeeld over heel Nederland) – InMosae: Sociëteitsdies – verjaardag van sociëteit de Kaap – CF Wintersport: Wintersport vakantie met leden van SV Circumflex – Dies Natalis der Studentenvereniging Circumflex: verjaardag van de vereniging – AHC Songfestival: onze band Accent treedt ieder jaar met een eigen geschreven nummer op tijdens het AHC Songfestival

Mission & vision

Studentenvereniging Circumflex is de oudste en grootste traditionele studentenvereniging van Maastricht. Sinds haar oprichting in 1971 is zij met haar ondernemende karakter dé vernieuwende en bepalende kracht van studentenstad Maastricht. Bovendien is zij sinds haar intrede in sociëteit De Kaap in 2008, een monumentaal pand op 100 meter afstand van het Vrijthof, de enige centraal gelegen studentenvereniging van Maastricht. Sociëteit De Kaap vormt het epicentrum voor alle leden. Hier kunnen zij eten, vergaderen, borrelen, studeren en volop genieten van het echte studentenleven.
