History
Wij zijn in 2005 opgericht om meer co-curriculaire evenementen te hebben in Middelburg. Studenten hebben toen onder onze naam en met ons budget hun eigen besturen opgericht. Zo zijn wij in de laatste 15 jaar gegroeid naar een groot bestuur die 27 kleinere besturen overziet.
Activities
Onze specifieke besturen hebben meestal wekelijkse evenementen dus er zijn vaker meer dan 10 evenementen per week. SportsCo (sports bestuur) heeft bijvoorbeeld dagelijkse trainings voor verschillende activiteiten, MusicSociety organiseert een keer per maand een Open Mic avond en GamesCo heeft een keer per week een ‘boardgame night’ waar alle studenten welkom zijn om gezamenlijk bordspellen te spelen.
Mission & vision
RASA’s missie is om alle studenten een kans te geven om aan hun interesses te werken die niet per se met hun lessen te maken hebben. Studenten kunnen daarbij zelf in een bestuur zitten of meedoen aan evenementen die door een bestuur worden georganiseerd. Hiermee ontwikkelen de studenten andere, praktische vaardigheden en krijgen ze een kans om sociaal te zijn met andere studenten (niet in hun studierichting).
