Sweet Coffee is run by two sisters from Hasselt who clearly never grew out of their sweet tooth phase. They started with one coffee bar over a decade ago and now have spots across Belgium and the Netherlands, including this one in Maastricht. The whole place runs on vacation vibes, which honestly tracks. They developed their own coffee blend and every drink is made by their baristas, so you're not getting some generic chain espresso. But the real draw is the sweets. Think iced lattes, matcha drinks, and stuff like their toasted coconut and caramel iced latte. You can basically give in to your sugar cravings all day, or pretend to be healthy if that's your thing. It's the kind of place where you can just sit, sip something cold, and not rush anywhere. If you've ever wanted to work in a coffee bar, they're also hiring, but no pressure. Just come for the coffee and the vibe.
