Zus En Kees is a koffiebar and winkel run by sisters Maaike and Eef, plus Kees. It sits in Bergpolder, Rotterdam Noord, and does two things at once: you can grab a proper coffee and homemade baked goods, or browse the shop for woonaccessoires, posters, cards, and servies from different brands and designers. The coffee comes from Giraffe Coffee Roasters, tea from Tea Village. Besides coffee, they do other warm and cold drinks, plus self-baked treats. You can sit inside, take a spot on the terrace, or just get it to go. No reservations, so it's a walk-in kind of place. It's open Wednesday through Saturday, 09:00 to 17:00. If you're in the neighborhood and want a decent cup without the whole production, this is it. Simple, honest, and the shop part makes it easy to accidentally leave with something for your apartment.
