Trash Pop

Trash Pop is a venue that leans hard into the music of 1981, the year synth-pop went mainstream and New Romanticism had its last big moment. Think Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, The Human League, Adam and the Ants. That whole era, the good and the gloriously weird parts of it. The space is built around that vibe. It's not a museum or a lecture, it's a place to actually hear and feel that sound. Expect the atmosphere to match the music: a bit moody, a bit flashy, a bit nostalgic without being corny about it. What you do there is pretty straightforward. You go for the music, you hang out, you soak in the aesthetic. It's for people who actually care about the difference between a LinnDrum and a real kit, or who just know that "Vienna" is an absolute masterpiece and want to hear it loud. If you're into the era, the fashion, or just want a night out that doesn't sound like everything else right now, this is your spot. It's a specific thing, and it knows it.
