Erlebniskochen is a cooking school in Hamburg that’s been running since 2004. Not a stiff culinary academy vibe, more like two event kitchens where you actually get hands-on. You pick between the LOFT in Ottensen, which is over 200 m² and one of the biggest event kitchens in the city, or the HAUS at the green edge of town with a garden and grill stations. Both are easy to reach by public transport or car. Pro chefs run every course, from the first drink to the final wrap-up. So you’re not just left to figure out a recipe on your own. Whether it’s a date night cooking class, a birthday, a Christmas party, or a company event, they tailor the format to the occasion. They do open couples’ courses and closed private events, plus grill courses, wine tastings, and day trips to local producers through their Genuss auf Tour program. What makes it worth it?
