Black Brew calls itself the cozy living room for coffee addicts and music lovers, and honestly, that's exactly what it is. You walk in, grab a cup, and put on a record from their vinyl collection through the headphones. That's the whole vibe. Coffee plus music equals happiness, they say. No argument here. The coffee part is serious though. They're all about single origin specialty coffee, roasted locally by Keen Coffee Roasters. You can get your usual espresso or latte, but the house special is Japanese style syphon brewed filter coffee. That's the kind of thing you don't see everywhere. If you get hungry, they've got homemade brownies and cakes, plus a full all day brunch. So you can basically park yourself there for a while. It's open Tuesday through Saturday, tucked away on Willemstraat in Utrecht. If you're into good coffee and records, this is a solid spot to just exist for a bit.
