BGD is a paragliding brand, not a venue in the traditional sense. It started in a garage, and now it’s a leading manufacturer of paragliders and gear, with R&D in the south of France, distribution in Austria, and the factory in Sri Lanka. The whole thing is driven by Bruce Goldsmith, a world champion pilot who’s been designing gliders since the 80s, and the crew is basically a family of people who met through flying and never really left. What you can do here is less about hanging out and more about getting into the sport or upgrading your setup. They make paragliders, harnesses, reserves, and accessories, and they’re big on custom logos if you want your wing to look like yours.
