BakkIT is a bakery in Rotterdam Noord, in the Oude Noorden, that opened in 2023. It’s run by a team of bakers and baristas who actually seem to enjoy being there, which already puts it above half the places in the city. The menu changes up, but the highlights are the Rotterdamse Rol and the BAKKIT Wafel. Beyond that, they do chocolate chip cookies, madeleines, brownies, and financiers, all baked fresh in the bakery behind the shop. So yeah, it’s not just reheated stuff from a freezer. You can come for coffee, a pastry, or something cold.
