About

Vortex Jam Session

The Vibe

Vortex Jam Session on June 9 at Vortex Jazz Club. House, live, and honestly whatever happens happens. Bring your ears.

The sound

House. Live. A Zero Skip Playlist kind of night where the set keeps moving and nobody's checking their phone. Jazz & Soul undercurrents, but the groove stays in motion.

Pull up

Doors at 8. Come early if you want a spot that isn't by the door. Late Night Energy kicks in when the room settles and the jam actually locks in.

Real talk

It's a jam session, not a seated concert. No setlist, no encore, no two nights the same. Live Ready means the room is part of it. Cozy Cave vibes once the lights drop.

Insider tips

  • Eat before. You're standing for most of it.
  • If you play, bring your instrument and talk to the organizer before the first set.
  • Stay past 10. That's when the session opens up.
