History

Studievereniging Emile is opgericht op 10 juli 1990. Emile heeft haar naam verkregen van het eerste opvoedkundige boek ‘Émile ou De l’éducation’ van filosoof Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Hij beschreef hierin de volgens hem ideale opvoedingsmethode. Het boek beïnvloedt en inspireert pedagogen nog elke dag.

Activities

Studievereniging Emile organiseert studiegebonden en niet-studiegebonden activiteiten met de hulp en steun van commissies. Zo worden er lezingen, workshops, excursies, symposia en praktijkavonden georganiseerd. Op deze manier geeft Emile studenten de kans om zich te oriënteren en contacten te leggen in het werkveld. Ook organiseren we niet-studiegebonden activiteiten, zoals studiereizen, feesten, uitjes, borrels en in 2019 een Lustrummaand!

Mission & vision

Studievereniging Emile is er voor alle studenten van Pedagogische Wetenschappen & Academische Pabo. Studenten kunnen bij ons terecht met vragen over hun studie en andere zaken. We willen het de studenten zo makkelijk en aangenaam mogelijk maken. We stralen toegankelijkheid en warmte uit en hopen zo altijd benaderbaar te zijn voor onze leden. Onze deur staat dan ook altijd open en de thee staat klaar!
