History
In 1989 werd de HSVL opgericht uit een samensmelting van verschillende historische disputen die teruggaan tot de negentiende eeuw.
Activities
De HSVL is een van de actiefste studieverenigingen van Leiden. De commissies van de HSVL organiseren verschillende educatieve activiteiten, maar ook gave feesten en borrels. Zo hebben we een jaarlijks symposium met bijzondere sprekers, maar ook een geweldig gala. Daarnaast gaan we met de vereniging vaak op pad in binnen- en buitenland. Zo hebben we twee kleine reizen en een grote reis per jaar, naast verschillende excursies naar steden in Nederland en daarbuiten. Al deze mooie activiteiten worden door onze vele commissies georganiseerd.
Mission & vision
Met onze activiteiten hopen wij geschiedenisstudenten een verrijking voor hun studie en studentenleven te geven. Hierbij met een mooi evenwicht tussen educatieve activiteiten en feesten.
