Locals Coffee To Go is a modern café with a vintage feel, tucked into the Styria Center on Annenstraße. It’s not trying to be anything it’s not: you come here for coffee, a smoothie, or a bagel, and you leave feeling fine about it. The menu keeps it simple. Espresso and cappuccino for the basics, smoothies made with fresh fruit if you’re feeling healthy, and original American bagels when you’re not. A lot of the stuff is vegan too, so there’s something for everyone without making a whole thing about it. They also carry fine chocolate from Piedmont by Caffarel, which is a nice touch if you’ve got a sweet tooth or need a gift. It’s open Monday to Friday from 7 to 18, and Saturdays from 9 to 16. So whether you’re grabbing something before work or killing time in the center, it does the job. No fuss, just decent coffee and a chill spot to exist for a bit.
