Brauhaus Zwiebel is basically three spots in one, all in the middle of Soest's old town. There's the historic Brauhaus with its half-timbered vibe and proper Westphalian kitchen, the Aloisius with a big beer garden and seasonal food, and the Sudhaus, an event brewery for weddings, parties, and whatever else you're celebrating. They brew their own beer on site, and they've been at it since 1993. Think Soester Hell, Dunkel, Weizen, plus rotating specials like Solaris and Blondie. Fresh from the tap, no weird stuff. If you're into the behind-the-scenes thing, they do brewery tours. There's also a shop, and even holiday apartments if you wanna make a weekend of it. During summer, the Kultursommer brings live events to the Biergarten. It's not trying to be fancy. It's just solid beer, solid food, and a place that clearly knows what it is. If you're in Soest and want a proper local spot, this is it.
