Zerosound

Zerosound is not a venue. It's a Calgary-based tech company that builds digital active noise control systems for industrial sites. Think power plants, data centers, airports, that kind of thing. Their whole deal is suppressing outdoor noise in real time using AI-driven panels, no physical walls required. The tech is genuinely interesting. They use microphones and speakers to generate anti-phase sound waves that cancel out noise before it reaches nearby communities. Their system can cut perceived industrial noise by up to 92%, and it adapts to weather and equipment changes on the fly. They also track noise analytics for compliance reporting, which is a nice touch for operators dealing with regulations. If you're looking for a place to grab drinks or catch a show, this isn't it. But if you're into acoustic engineering, sustainability, or just curious about how industrial noise gets managed, their site is worth a scroll. They've got a solid team, a clear timeline of their progress, and a…
