Timehri
Timehri is a London based music and film project that treats both like they're the same thing, because for them they kind of are. It's run by Toby Dunn and a crew of regular collaborators, and the whole thing is built around documenting underground UK music culture, especially the sounds that came out of the Caribbean and Windrush influence. Think UK garage, soulful house, dubplates, all that. They put out films, artist showcases, and live listening parties. One of the big ones was a conversation with DJ Perception about his album Journey To The Star, where they actually sat down and played the record while talking through it. There's also a whole series on the impact of Windrush on UK music, which is less "content" and more actual history you can watch. The vibe is DIY but not sloppy. Everything feels intentional, like they're archiving something that matters before it gets lost. If you're into UK garage, soulful electronic music, or just want to see what a real music community looks…
