Sound Kitchen is exactly what it sounds like: headphones and coffee, but make it serious. It's a specialty coffee shop and high-end audio store in one space in Rotterdam, and somehow it works. You can sit down with some of the finest coffee around while testing gear that costs more than your rent. The whole thing is built on trust your ears. Nearly every piece of equipment on their site can be listened to or at least touched in the store. Open-back, closed-back, IEMs, amps, DACs, all of it. They've got stuff for every budget, from affordable dongles to pieces that'll make your wallet cry. And if you're not sure what you're doing, that's fine. Come in, try something, figure it out. The espressobar side is open from 8 to 6 every day, headphones from 10 to 6. So you can grab a coffee, put on a pair of headphones that costs more than a used car, and just vibe for a bit.
