If you know, you know. Schlagergarten is the Schlager club in Munich, and it doesn't really try to be anything else. It’s in the Werksviertel-Mitte, which already gives it a solid industrial-vibe head start. The place is all about Schlager and charts, so if that’s your thing, you’re home. If it’s not, you’ve been warned. Open Thursday through Saturday from 21:30, the energy starts late and runs until 5am. Thursday is free entry all night, and Friday and Saturday are free until 22:00, so there’s no real reason to show up fashionably late unless you want to pay. You can reserve a standing table or go full VIP lounge if you’re feeling fancy, and there’s a drinks menu to browse before you commit. Beyond the regular club nights, they do special events. The standout is the Hot Rod Fun Schlagergarten Special: a 2- or 3-hour hot rod ride through the city, either out to Schloss Nymphenburg or all the way to Starnberger See.
