Melvin

e 28, Amsterdam, Netherlands

Melvin isn't a venue. It's a motorcycle parts company that shut down in June 2022 after over three decades of selling brake lines made in Schramberg. The owners, Michael and Annette Melvin, called it quits and retired. No events, no drinks, no vibe to catch. Just a German business saying goodbye to its customers. If you were looking for a spot to hang out, this isn't it. The page is basically a farewell note, and that's all there is to it.

The Vibe

Your squad’s new SQUAD HQ just dropped in Amsterdam. Daytime: laptop lounge, nighttime: vibe shift so smooth you’ll forget you ever had deadlines. The Aura? Zero-skip cozy-core with a side of terrace sunshine.

The vibe check

Imagine your favorite playlist on shuffle, soft beats for Work Mode Activated, then a bass bump when the sun sets. Melvin’s Aura flips like that, no cap. One corner’s all dim lights and power outlets, the next’s a terrace where your iced latte hits different.

Pull-up guide

Study/Work Mode: show up early, claim the big table by the window. Date Night Material: slide in after 7, grab the corner sofa, and let the string lights do the talking. Terrace/Outdoor is always open, rain or shine, heaters got you.

Real talk

Service Vibe is next-level. Baristas remember your order, Wi-Fi never ghosts you, and the playlist? Cooked. No sad elevator music, just tracks that make your notes look smarter.
