Lakedance

Lakedance is basically the summer festival of Eindhoven, and it’s been doing its thing since 2005. It started small as a beach party at Beachclub Sunrise with 800 people, and now it pulls in almost 40,000 visitors a year. The whole vibe is dancing in the sand at Aquabest with the sun on your face and a drink in your hand. That’s it. That’s the pitch. The music lineup is pretty stacked across genres: progressive house, deephouse, tech house, techno, even guilty pleasure and freestyle. Over the years they’ve had names like Hardwell, Afrojack, Fedde Le Grand, and Don Diablo behind the decks. It’s grown from 2 to 9 areas since 2024, so there’s plenty of space to wander and find your spot. What makes it worth it though is that it still feels like a “we know each other” kind of party, not some massive overcrowded mess.
