Klub Verboten started in 2016 as a grassroots thing and grew into a full on community of kinksters across London, Berlin, Manchester, Warsaw, and Amsterdam. It's backed by the Arts Council England now, which is wild for a scene that's basically built on modern human interaction and consent culture. The vibe is less "club night" and more "movement that happens to throw parties." The music side is serious too. They've been merging contemporary electronic music with kink culture from day one, and a bunch of resident artists like Simik, Soraya, and Tsuniman have come through their halls and shaped the soundscape. It's not just a party, it's a space where artists and attendees feed off each other. They've also got Stück in Dalston, East London, a third space by Playbody Studio and Klub Verboten.
