Kavka
Kavka is a spot in Antwerp that runs on volunteer energy, and honestly, that's kind of the whole vibe. It's not some polished, corporate venue. It's a place where you can get into events for free if you're willing to lend a hand, meet some decent people, and get paid a little something on top. They even feed you. That's a solid deal. The venue itself is split across two locations, Oudaan and Zappa, but they've merged everything under the Kavka name now. So you've got one hub for whatever they're cooking up, from live shows to whatever random event lands on the calendar. Think of it as a youth-driven space where things feel a bit more hands-on and less "sit down and behave." Worth a visit if you're into grassroots culture and don't mind getting involved. Or if you just want to catch a gig without the usual stiff atmosphere. Either way, it's real.
