Houtbaar Isburning X Cvnt Collective
Houtbaar Isburning X Cvnt Collective is a queer space in Haarlem where house and techno actually take center stage. No star ratings, no formal reviews, just a dance floor that’s meant to feel sacred and safe. The whole thing started from a simple need: a place where you can show up as you are, musically, emotionally, physically, and not have to explain yourself. The lineup is always unannounced. That’s not a gimmick, it’s been the vision for 12 years. You don’t come here to plan which DJ to catch at what time. You come to get lost in the music, discover new sounds, and let the night take you somewhere unexpected. The team keeps it filled with residents and familiar faces, so you’re never totally in the dark, but the point is to let go of control. It’s by the community, for the community. Everyone is a headliner here, not just the people on stage. If you’re looking for a night where the vibe does the work and you don’t have to perform anything, this is it.
