Groove Ascension is a London based internet radio station that started back in 2014, set up by a DJ from South East London. It's not a physical venue, it's a platform. A space for DJs and MCs who need that extra exposure to actually get heard, broadcasting from their own homes with their own gear. The music side is properly broad. Think house, UKG, soul, funk, rare groove, drum n bass, rnb, oldskool, 80s and 90s stuff. Underground across the board. They stream globally and pull in thousands of listeners every month, with support coming from places like Canada, USA, Cyprus, Spain and Australia. You can even request tracks and they'll do their best to play them. What makes it worth a visit is the community angle. They provide jingles, station idents and personalised name checks for your show, so it feels like you're locked into something real. If you've got the equipment and a decent connection, they handle the rest. It's a stage for people who might not get one otherwise.
