Gome The Gang
GOME is a Hamburg-based house music project that runs its own label, Snackwax, and plays shows across Europe. The space itself isn’t a fixed venue: it’s more about the music and the people behind it. Think DJ sets, club nights, and releases that lean into raw, no-nonsense house sounds. Their 10th Snackwax release, the “Lean Cuisine EP,” sums up the vibe pretty well: two tracks, straight to the point. One for the early morning club hours when the dancefloor’s still going, the other with a gritty garage bounce. They’ve put out stuff on labels like Heist Recordings and Toy Tonics, so they’re not exactly new to this. What makes GOME worth checking out is the honesty. They literally say they have no idea what they’re doing, but somehow it’s cooking. That energy carries into their shows, which have included dates at Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg and Fusion Festival. If you’re into house music that doesn’t overthink itself, this is it.
