Exit Festival

EXIT is a summer music festival that takes over the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia. It started in 2000 as a student movement fighting for democracy and freedom in the Balkans, which honestly gives it way more substance than your average festival. The whole thing grew out of real youth rebellion, and that energy is still the core of what it does. You're looking at over 1,000 artists spread across more than 40 stages and festival areas. The lineup history is stacked: Pet Shop Boys, The Cure, Guns N' Roses, David Guetta, The Prodigy, Snoop Dogg, Kraftwerk, Arctic Monkeys, Carl Cox, and a ton of others have played there. It's not just about the music though. Social responsibility is a big part of the festival's identity, with a focus on environmental and humanitarian work, creative industries, and regional cooperation.
