Disco Inferno is a nine piece band from Saarland that brings 70s funk and disco back to life. Think sharp horn sections, pumping drums and bass, layered backing vocals, and guitar riffs that just hit different. They play the classics from Earth, Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang, Donna Summer, the Commodores, and more, all in an authentic retro style with a full live show. They mix in plenty of soul, jazz, and rock, so it's not just a nostalgia trip. The lineup includes three horns, male and female lead vocals, and the whole thing is built around a beat that will honestly make you sweat. It's the kind of show where you can groove, dance, or just stand there and take it all in. They've been playing stages across the region since spring 2018, from city festivals to club nights. If you're into the Black sound of the 70s, this is about as close as it gets without a time machine.
