DeDAKKAS is exactly what it sounds like: a rooftop spot on top of a parking garage in the center of Haarlem. You come for the view, you stay because there's no pressure to leave. The vibe is pretty simple, read a paper with coffee, send some emails, or just stare into the distance and let your brain reset. They don't reserve every seat, so walk-ins are welcome, which is rare and honestly refreshing. The food and drink situation is solid. They work with local and seasonal products, mostly plant-based but with some meat and fish on the menu. The drink list is where it gets interesting: 15 beers on tap, a rotating selection of seasonal brews, and a serious lineup of low and no alcohol options.
