Chimimora

Chimimora isn’t a place you go to. It’s a thing you join. They’re a nomadic collective in London (and beyond) that keeps things moving, so the venue is less a fixed address and more a vibe that shows up wherever it lands. The whole point is spontaneous creativity and communal hospitality. No hierarchy, no gatekeeping. You show up, you share a meal, you experiment, and everyone gets a say. They call it a shared archive, which is a nice way of saying every encounter leaves a trace and you’re part of building it. Expect screenings, live sets, listening sessions, and open calls. The programme shifts constantly, so there’s no “usual” night. It’s about showing up, contributing, and seeing what happens when hospitality meets experimentation. If you’re tired of venues that feel like you’re just a spectator, this is the opposite. Everyone’s an artist here, including you. Just stay connected and see where they pop up next.
