History

Ichthus is begonnen bij de Ichthus zeilkampen. Van 4 tot 11 juli 1959 waren christelijke studenten in Giethoorn bij elkaar gekomen om te zeilen. Deze week werd georganiseerd door de groep Utrechtse studenten die een paar maanden later een grote evangelisatieactie op touw zou zetten waardoor de Ichthusverenigingen ontstonden. Daarmee zijn de zeilkampen de oudste Ichthus activiteit van Nederland. De eerste Ichthusvereniging werd opgericht in Utrecht op 25 februari 2960. Inmiddels is Ichthus vertegenwoordigd in 15 verschillende steden.

Activities

Naast Bijbelstudies, lezingen en praises is er op Ichthus ook ruimte voor gezellige borrels, weekenden, sport, gala’s en meer.
