History
Na de oprichting van de (toen nog) Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen in 1923, groeide de sectie Klassieke Talen binnen de Letterenfaculteit zeer snel in het aantal studenten. Op aanraden van professor F.J. de Waele in 1928 werd er door de studenten besloten om een vereniging op te richten die hun belangen zou behartigen. De vereniging werd opgericht op 26 februari 1929, en is daarmee de oudste studievereniging van Nijmegen.
Activities
De vereniging zorgt voor een goede dosis gezelligheid in het leven van de Nijmeegse classici. De vereniging organiseert allerlei activiteiten: lezingen, borrels, gala’s, boekenmarkten, sportactiviteiten en feesten. Deze activiteiten hebben vaak een klassiek tintje. Daarnaast wordt er elk jaar door de vereniging een reis georganiseerd, zoals de afgelopen paar jaren naar Berlijn, Griekenland, Istanbul, Lissabon, Andalusië en Boedapest. Ieder jaar weer wordt ook een klassiek getint stuk ten tonele gebracht.
Mission & vision
De vereniging draagt zorg voor de belangen van de studenten Griekse en Latijnse Taal en Cultuur en verzorgt daarnaast veel activiteiten en gezelligheid voor de studenten.
