History

Tijdens een regio-overleg komt er het idee om een regionale stam op te richten. Dit bij gebrek aan stamleden bij de verschillende groepen in de regio. Twee weken later op 24 november 1999 komen de eerste belangstellenden bij elkaar waarna er regelmatig opkomsten worden georganiseerd. In 2001 wordt de Stichting Martinistam notarieel opgericht. In 2007 wordt de Martinistam opgesplitst in een studentenstam en een oud-studentenstam, respectievelijk Stam 1 en Stam 2. De Martinistam heeft in 2020 rond de 80 leden.

Activities

Gedurende het collegejaar komt Stam 1 om de week op woensdag bij elkaar. Telkens hebben twee andere leden de taak om een toffe activiteit neer te zetten. zoals een potje boerengolf door het centrum, een cursus klimmen, of kanoën door de diepenring. Stam 2 komt ongeveer één keer per maand bij elkaar. De groep is ook te vinden op veel regionale, nationale, en zelfs internationale evenementen, waaronder: – Studentenstammenweekend (SSW) – Noorderlijk Pinksterkamp (NPK) – Noorderlijke Hikewedstrijden (NHW) – Poolkamp – Scout-In – Exxploraxxion – Roverway – Wereld Jamboree
