Koffiespot

Elandsgracht 53, Amsterdam, Netherlands

Koffiespot is a small espresso bar in the middle of Jordaan, Amsterdam. It opened in winter 2015, and honestly, the vibe is exactly what you'd hope for from a neighborhood spot: warm, atmospheric, and small enough that it feels personal. The coffee is the main character here. They work with Stean's Beans, a local micro roaster, and the beans are seasonally hand picked. Their whole thing is preserving the flavor from each farm, so every cup tastes like where it came from. No generic roast situation. Food-wise, it's not a full kitchen, but you don't need one. Fresh pressed juices, vegan and gluten free pastries, grilled sandwiches. Small menu, but everything's actually healthy and actually tasty. Good for breakfast, lunch, or just a quick bite when you're walking through the neighborhood. What makes it worth the visit is that it's not just another coffee corner. It's the kind of place where you can drop in, grab a brew, and just chat for a bit. If you're in the area, it's a solid stop.
