VIJFNULVIJF sits on the hectic Insulindeweg intersection, and honestly, that chaos is part of the charm. It’s an urban Asian streetfood spot that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The only thing they’re serious about is the food, the sushi, and their Super Asian Cocktails. You’re here for comfort food, basically. They pull together streetfood and sushi highlights from all over South East Asia, plus cocktails made with exotic fruits and spices from the Asian kitchen. It’s a homage to that heritage, but served without the pretension. Also, every Friday evening, and some Sundays, they host Cosy Livin’ Room Concerts. That’s a collab with professional Jazz, Soul, and Singer-songwriter musicians. So you can eat, drink, and catch some live music in a living room kind of setting.
