Ufonic

London, United Kingdom

Ufonic is a London-based platform for what they call "shifted sonic encounters." Basically, it's a space where artists and listeners merge into what they describe as "a common soup of congregating sound waves and emotional curiosity." That's the vibe, and they're not exaggerating. They run events across London venues like Iklectik, The Old Church, and Fa*de, plus a bunch of shows in Lisbon. The lineups lean experimental, ambient, and leftfield. Think Ulla, Wolfgang Voigt, Lea Bertucci, Civilistjävel!. If you're into music that doesn't fit neatly into a genre box, this is your lane. Beyond live shows, they put out compilations and albums on their label, including the "Som à Sombra" series and various CD releases. It's run by a*diMind Design, so the whole thing has a DIY, curatorial feel rather than a corporate one. Worth checking out if you want to hear something you won't catch on a standard club night. No star ratings here, just a blank canvas for shared realities.
