Thertproject

theRTproject is a not-for-profit theatre company in London that's less about polish and more about process. It's built on six core values: inclusivity, collaboration, creativity, respect, innovation, and engagement. That's not just mission statement fluff, they actually structure everything around it. The space is for performers, theatre-makers, and audiences who want to be part of something real. They platform breakthrough directors and writers, tell familiar stories through a new lens, and push performers to take risks. Think "fail better" energy, not safe corporate theatre. They also genuinely care about the people in the room. Academic support, disability support, and mental wellbeing are baked into how they work, not an afterthought. If you need adjustments, they'll make them. Worth a visit if you want theatre that actually makes you think, and a company that walks the talk on who gets to be on stage.
