The James is a design hotel in the middle of Rotterdam, not some generic chain spot. It’s got 144 rooms, a four-star vibe, and it’s close enough to Central Station that you can basically roll out of bed and be in the city. The whole thing is styled to feel comfortable, not stiff, so you can actually unwind after a day of wandering around. The second floor is where the action is. There’s a lounge, a gym, and a 24/7 Food Market. No buffet, no reservations, you just grab what you want and pay for that. Breakfast is whatever you make it. The staff are also pretty clued up on the city, so if you need a recommendation or a nightcap with a skyline view, they’ve got you.
