Sublime

Sublime is a radio station based in Berlin, but honestly, it feels more like a whole vibe than just something you tune into. It's all about soul, funk, and classics, with shows like Funky Friday, The Soul Kitchen, and Sublime Sunday Chill keeping things mellow or groovy depending on the day. You've got DJs like Jaap Brienen and Frank van 't Hof holding it down, plus special countdowns like the Sublime Soul Top 1000 if you're into that kind of deep-dive energy. There's also a live studio and an app, so you can catch sessions or just stream from wherever. They even tie into events like North Sea Jazz with pre and after parties, which is a nice touch if you're already in that world. It's not a club or a bar, it's a radio thing, but it's got that specific taste level that makes you want to keep it on in the background or actually sit and listen. If you're into soul classics and don't need a bunch of noise, this is your spot.
