Scrumpy has been around longer than most people think. The original pub opened in Wateringen back in 1982, and it quickly became the spot where locals met up, friendships happened, and memories got made. In 2005, brothers Remmert and Leendert Keizer took over and kept that same energy going, turning it into a place that still feels warm and lowkey welcoming today. You can come here for lunch, dinner, drinks, or just a casual night out. It's the kind of place where people stick around, literally: some staff members have worked here for over a decade, which says a lot about the vibe behind the scenes too. It's not just a venue, it's basically family at this point. They recently opened a second location in Poeldijk, same values, same hospitality, just a new spot for new memories.
